I am about to file a civil suit against my lender and servicer and I'm going pro se for now.

My original lender AND my loan servicer are now out of business and have been merged with other companies. Who do I name in the Civil suit?

Name the assignee or successor of the note and mtg/dot, and the new servicer if one currently exists. 

You could list it as ABC Mtg, successor by assigns of XYZ Mtg, (XYZ being the original mtg co).
