occurs post loan origination when mortgage servicers use false statements and book-keeping entries, fabricated assignments, forged signatures and utter counterfeit intangible Notes to take a homeowner's property and equity.

We have been reading for at least two years about cities forced to mow properties and being unable to find out who to bill for that job since titles are now massively flawed.

We are far enough into this that there should be some delinquent taxes out there. Why aren't the counties and states taking these properties and selling them for back taxes by now?

My state is pretty brutal on tax liens.

Summary: (a)(1) All lands upon which the taxes have not been paid for one (1) year following the date the taxes were due, October 10, shall be forfeited to the State of Arkansas and transmitted by certification to the Commissioner of State Lands for collection or sale. (Sec. 26-37-101), who may sell the property at a public auction following a two-year redemption period (Sec. 26-37-301).

The banks REO properties could be reduced greatly if the tax collectors would step in. We could get butts in houses again WITHOUT MORTGAGES.

They will put a lien on a property in a heartbeat here; all they have to do is post notice in the local paper once a year for two weeks listing forfeited properties. If a person buys these properties for back taxes they are given clear title by the state.

Has anyone heard that it is happening anywhere?
