Anybody have case law on the ramifications of the Wachovia blow up and the Wells takeover of Wachovia mortgage portfolio ?

We are in a current foreclosure case with Chase trying to foreclose on an old Wachovia loan bought out by Wells. There has to be some case law on similiar situations yet I cannot find any.

I know damn well the loan has been paid off in one way or another. Any questions on our case please feel free to ask. NON NOVICE here..
