Mortgage Servicing Fraud
occurs post loan origination when mortgage servicers use false statements and book-keeping entries, fabricated assignments, forged signatures and utter counterfeit intangible Notes to take a homeowner's property and equity.

I refuse to watch. I'd rather try to sandpaper a bobcat's ass in a phone booth.

I agree, these debates are disappointing because they don't
allow the Libertarian candidate to participate.
The real issues are the continuing embargo against Iran, which
as Ron Paul stated, is an act of war, and the possible complete
collapse of the world economy if the "cold war" turns into a
"shooting war" which would shut down the Straights of Hormuz and
push gas to $10/gallon.
Of course, the deflationary crisis we are in was hardly discussed much less any solutions to the problem, such as
"debt reduction" to get the economy moving again.
I doubt if Mitt Romney even understands the problem of fraud
in mortgage lending and servicing. I think Mr. Obama "gets it"
but he is too preoccupied with the threat of war in the Mid East
to do anything about it.
Bottom line, underwater homeowners need to use "self help" in
order to get out from under the mountain of debt they are in.
They can expect no help from the "bankster" controlled government
which finances both major parties.
