Well it is about time... each and every state in the Union should follow suit... no pun intended. Why this has not happened sooner is beyond me... if all the states hit them at once there will be nothing left of MERS....

This lawsuit is NOT a suit by any Tennessee state agency or county.  It is a Qui Tam lawsuit by an individual suing in the name of the public agencies.  Qui Tam lawsuits are usually referred to as whistleblower suits.  Google the term and you will find hundreds of lawfirms willing to file Qui Tam lawsuits at the Federal level, where they are most effective.  Unfortunately, few states allow Qui Tam lawsuits by citizens as does Tennessee.
