Can anyone tell me what a spurious open end mortgage is? I basically know what it is. An open end mortgage was designed for mortgage companies to evade TILA and HOEPA laws and to deceive the consumer into a loan that is non=amortizing. So if one has a spurious open end mortgage is there any recourse to take against the lender, does it break any violations to file a complaint and possible lawsuit.  I really need to know as I am under one and can't get out of it. If anyone knows anything about these please let me know immediately. I am at risk of losing my home and need help ASAP. Thanks for any information anyone can give me.
