Read story after my "commentary"

Ohio AG, Marc Dann who has been taking on the mortgage and banking industry in Ohio with various investigations now has an investigation of his own to worry about. Like Elittot Spitzer before him, those who are taking on the mortgage and banking industry, regardless of how powerful, find themselves at the epicenter of moral hypocrisy when the tables are turned in order to destroy their lives, and most importantly, their credibility.

In order to divert attention from real moral dilemmas such as mortgage and banking fraud, we are left to wallow in the sleazy sexual escapades of men who are at least getting laid, albeit while with or without their wife's knowledge.

Perhaps its the jealousy of the "banker types" usually ESTJs and ISTJs who are the accounting nerds and power hungry ego maniacs who never got the girl; got laid; or could only get women with their money, supposed prestige or power and control.

Unlike the Gary Harts, Bill Clintons and now Marc Dunns of the world who get get a girl [even without great looks] with some intelligence, class, personality and charm and the occasional political deception, why is it that more attention and focus is addressed on sexual scandals, than on lying to get us in a war; lying about weapons of mass destruction; great banking scandals like the S&L and subprime crisis; the internet bubble burst; and the economy in the toilet?

Inquiring minds want to know and could it be that diversion and subterfuge are at play here? Could it be that powerful interests rather focus your attention on the miniscule penises and sins of a few that are trying to expose the massive fraud and corruption of many by the powerful few? Food for thought. I don't give a damn about someone's sex life. To each his or he own and what floats your boat, until it affects me, should not and is not my business.

Can an opponent use to question moral judgment? Sure, but when we try to impeach a prez for a damn BJ and saying it isn't sex unless you put it in (something that 95% of girls under age of 25 and all catholic and jewish women would agree with) and we let the powerful banking interest attack and threaten us each day. then America is not the land of the free, but the real estate of the powerful that enslave the masses via indentured slavery to the banks of the world. Wake up your neighbors before this growing nightmare engulfs us all!

Ohio AG Admits Affair With Employee

COLUMBUS, Ohio (May 2) - Ohio's attorney general admitted an extramarital affair with an employee Friday, soon after three of his aides were fired or forced out after an investigation found evidence of sexual harassment and other misconduct.

Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann admitted Friday that he had an extramarital affair with an employee whom he declined to identify. The revelation comes after three of his aides were fired or forced out in a scandal involving sexual harassment and other misconduct.

Leader of both parties were critical of Attorney General Marc Dann, one of several Democrats swept into office in 2006 after a scandal over state investments sullied Republicans. He apologized to his wife and supporters but promised not to step down.

"I'm embarrassed. I have taken responsibility for what I've done," he told reporters.

Dann had lived with two of the aides at an apartment during much of his first year in office and some of the alleged harassment by one of the aides occurred there.

"I did not create an atmosphere in my public and personal life that is consistent with the important mission of the Office of Attorney General ...," Dann said. "I am heartbroken by my failure to recognize the problems being created and by my failure to stop them."

Ohio GOP deputy chairman Kevin DeWine called for Dann's resignation, saying he turned the attorney general's office into a "raunchy frat pad."

Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland said the investigation showed a "double standard" with Dann staying while some employees were let go.

Dann, 46, said the affair was consensual and refused to disclose the name of the employee. He said the relationship came during a difficult time in his marriage, but that it "was wrong and I deeply regret it."

Dann's scheduler, Jessica Utovich, with whom he had a close relationship in which they often used profanity, nicknames and teasing when e-mailing each other, resigned voluntarily, said Tom Winters, first assistant attorney general. He did not give a reason.

When interviewed for the sexual harassment investigation conducted by assistant attorneys general, Dann said Utovich stayed overnight at an apartment he shared with the two aides for a variety of reasons that he would not discuss. During her interview, Utovich would not say whether she ever stayed overnight at the apartment during her interview.

Utovich and Dann's wife, Alyssa Lenhoff, did not immediately return messages seeking comment.

Both aides Dann lived with were fired after the results of the investigation were released Friday. Investigators found that Anthony Gutierrez, who led Dann's general services office, violated sexual harassment policy, and Leo Jennings, Dann's former communications chief, is accused of trying to get a worker to lie when interviewed under oath.

Investigators say Edgar Simpson, Dann's policy chief, was forced to resign for failing to address inappropriate behavior. Simpson had knowledge of Gutierrez's history of policy violations, the investigation report said.

Dann emerged into state politics as an appointed state senator with a small private law office, and became the face of the Democrats' charge against a scandal over state investments that contributed to the Ohio GOP's devastating election losses in 2006. He defeated a better known and more experienced Republican.

As Ohio's top law enforcer, he has taken on the nation's largest insurance brokerage, the mortgage lending industry, student loan providers, MySpace and the big three credit rating agencies, among others. His crime-fighting led to comparisons with New York's Eliot Spitzer, who became governor after he was attorney general and recently resigned in a prostitution scandal.

Dann had removed himself from the sexual harassment investigation.

Gutierrez was accused by two women he supervised - Cindy Stankoski and Vanessa Stout, both 26 - of making unwanted advances and vulgar remarks.

Stankoski said she went to the apartment near Columbus shared by Dann, Gutierrez and Jennings for pizza and drinks. She said she fell asleep drunk at the condo and when she awoke, her pants were unbuttoned and Gutierrez was lying next to her in his underwear.

When it was apparent Stankoski had too much to drink, arrangements should have been made to get her home, investigators said.

Stout alleged that Gutierrez repeatedly asked her for sex, suggesting she "owed" him for helping her land a state job.

The investigation also found that Gutierrez violated policies that prohibit driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The report detailed an incident where Gutierrez allegedly was drinking with other employees while driving a state vehicle.

The matter is now under investigation by the State Highway Patrol.

Rex Elliott, the attorney for Stout and Stankoski, said both women feel vindicated.

"There are questions that go all the way to the top of that office about how the leader of that office allowed this environment to persist," he said.

Messages left for Gutierrez's attorney, Sam Amendolara, were not immediately returned. No phone listing for Simpson could be found.

Dann is the third high-ranking official around the country to be marred by sexual scandal in recent months. Spitzer resigned abruptly in March after revelations that he had been a customer of a high-end call girl service. And Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is charged with perjury, misconduct and obstruction of justice for accusations that he tried to hide a long-term romantic relationship with his former chief of staff.

Attorney Dann you are now an official pimple on the ass of America. Your bronzed pimple statue will be presented at a future time and place. In the meantime please accept the occassional "finger" you will undoubtedly be bestowed with from time to time as a heart felt gesture of appreciation for all the hard work and commitment you have shown ALL Ohioans.

In my book, anyone who's even willing to take on these MS scumbags is OK by me. Their enemy is my friend, and I truly don't give a damn what sexual escapades they have going on, as long as they get their job done and don’t scam anything and everything they touch. And to be honest, as long as they don’t include children in their antics, I don't give a FLICK if they carry on like Caligula. It's quite obvious that this is just another Bush style cover up/smear job. BTW: while we’re on the subject of morals or lack of them… I simply can't imagine that it would ever be possible to match the amazingly high level loathsome characteristics possessed by our current White house resident (the King of Fraud).

Morals? I don't care about the moral issues here. As an Ohioan....I do care VERY much about the tax dollars I PAID while it was going on and will continue to pay for the investigations.

I don't think the taxpayers should be footing the bill for frat parties and all the grab ass going on in the office while on the taxpayers clock. I don't think the taxpayers should fund a salary for a state employee who'd rather use his blackberry and e-mail for primarily PERSONAL communications.

Be it sex, drugs, porn...whatever...as long as it's paid for by ME, then YES I DO care.

Dann fights for the people on one hand while ripping them off with the other. How is that EVER ok??

I don't care either what goes on with somebody's sex life as long as they
leave kids alone and their prartners are willing participants.

Beyond that, it gets boring and there is something so sordid about the
way these guys behave once they get in office but still I'd rather they
have sex than turn a blind eye to the suffering of innocent borrowers.

I'm thinking pharmacists should stop dispensing those little blue pills at least
to politicians.

OHIO:

What I'm saying is: In the big picture, I happen to care a lot more about the raging fraud that is being ignored everywhere, then the obnoxious news blurbs about who's been playing hide the wiener with the boss's wife and/or brother. Any form of tax waste is bad and that's obvious. But sometimes we don't have time to fight all the battles.

I know what you are saying 4J.

I don't care what they do either...as long as they do it on their own dime.

Betraying the trust of the people for the sake of this nonsense is insulting.

Ohio needs to bring back Betty Montgomery and kick this cad to the curb.

I believe it would be much better if they replaced those little blue pills with ex-lax, then most of our so-called politicians would simply disappear.

A God complex is a colloquial term used to portray a person who acts so arrogantly that he or she might as well believe he or she is a god (self-deification).

Ex lax?  rotflmao

That's a good one.

How about a little truth serum before testifying before congress?

And a little itching powder in their underwear.
