It sounds to me, that you need to study "adverse possession". Go to the
internet and look for foreclosures of now defunct banks. Next, check the
tax situation on the property to see if the taxes are being paid. If not, this
is a good candidate for "adverse possession" ie "squatters rights".
Have the electric and water turned on at the property. Transfer your
ID to the new adress and then move in with the help of a "locksmith" (or
else get a book on locksmithing and "do it yourself".
Fix up the property and improve it. Be sure to pay the taxes, (tell the
property appraiser what you are doing). In most States, after 7 years,
you own the property. The main thing is maintain a low profile. Don't ruin
a good thing.
It would be useful to put some bail money in reserve with a friend in
case you get arrested by an overzealous cop who never heard of "adverse
possession", and who decides to charge you with tresspassing, a charge
he can't win if you pay the taxes and maintain the property. The Common
wealth owns the land, he/she who pays the taxes has the right of occupancy.

I can help you. I am a loss mitigator representing the public. I used to work these banks. Now I represent the public in preforming loan modifications. I deal with Saxon all the time. A loan modification is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. If you need assistance please email me @ baggadonuts420@yahoo.com. I do not wish to reveal the company I work for on this site. I will tell you we are an A Rated company with the business bureau. I am the Sr Coordinator here. It would be my pleasure to assist you in keeping your home.
