Mortgage Servicing Fraud
occurs post loan origination when mortgage servicers use false statements and book-keeping entries, fabricated assignments, forged signatures and utter counterfeit intangible Notes to take a homeowner's property and equity.

Following mounting pressure from foreclosure defense advocates, President Barrack Obama has upgraded his VETO of the DODD-REID Digital Robo-Signing Act to a FULL VETO.

See:

I understand that several MS Fraud Forum participants had a key role in creating the political pressure to avoid the "accidental" enactment of this legislation!

Thanks to ALL!

I am also aware of one prominant foreclosure defense advocate who made direct contact with a key person in the White House West Wing.  Thanks to him, as well!

The news media mostly ignored the upgrade yesterday of the veto of the DODD-REID Digital Robo-Signing Act from a "pocket veto" to a FULL veto.  But Arthur Delaney, of the Huffington Post picked up on it:

"Obama Clarifies Pocket Veto Of Controversial Bill Related To Foreclosures", by Arthur DELANEY (October 9, 2010)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/09/obama-clarifies-pocket-ve_n_756873.html

He had also done an earlier piece that helped explain Sen. Bob CASEY's roll and that of Sen. Patrick LEAHY:

"How The Controversial Foreclosure Bill Made It Through Congress With No Public Debate" (October 8, 2010)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/08/how-the-controversial-for_n_755609.html

Many irate citizens are rejecting the theory that President Calvin COOLIDGE was responsible for sneaky passage the DODD-REID Digital Robo-Signing Act.

In the interests of completion, I ran across this overlooked Fox News blog post today:

"Presidential Pocket Vetoes: The Original Paperwork Reduction Act", By Chad Pergram, Fox News (October 07, 2010)
http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/10/07/presidential-pocket-vetoes-original-paperwork-reduction-act#ixzz11niIwvOk

And it turns out that we all wear "tin foil hats":

"Latest Tinfoil Hat Theory: Obama Is Planning To "Accidentally" Not Veto Controversial Foreclosure Bill" By Courtney Comstock, Business Insider (Oct. 8, 2010, 5:01 PM)

http://www.businessinsider.com/the-latest-from-foreclosure-gate-obama-is-planning-to-accidentally-pass-hr-3808-2010-10

It seems that Ms. COMSTOCK hadn't gotten the word yet about the UPGRADE of the Presidential veto to a FULL VETO!

That is, she didn't fully appreciate that we got the President to don a tin foil hat, too, on Friday!

Finally, the matter seems to have gotten a belated mention at the Home Equity Theft Reporter:

Perhaps one of you who contributes to that Blog might want to clue them in that this was put to bed on Friday!
