Suit over homes heads to trial

Leading bank, Poconos builder accused of conspiring to defraud more than 100 house buyers.

A lawsuit alleging that one of the nation's largest banks and a Poconos builder conspired to defraud more than 100 home buyers will go to trial, a federal judge in Harrisburg ruled Friday.

In his long-awaited decision, U.S. District Judge Christopher C. Conner denied a motion for summary judgment by Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corp. and Tannersville builder Gene Percudani, saying there is enough evidence for a jury to find that Chase enabled Percudani to engage in a ''racketeering enterprise'' to sell homes at inflated prices. Conner said he would schedule a trial date shortly

This does not surprise me as CHASE has an in-house office at Litton Loan now, and screwing with people's payments, and history!  When Chase took over BP, they screwed thousands with changes in payment dates, then charged them for being late, etc the SOP for CHASE!
