Yes

Most indorsements on the note are undated.

They don't have to be dated.

I've learned something interesting. If they e-mail you a scan of the note or a crappy photocopy, don't necessarily believe it. I am fairly certain that some banks, OneWest in particular, are forging endorsements digitally...I wonder if anyone has seen an authentic IndyMac note with endorsement in real life??

When you indorse and depost a check into your bank account, do you date the indorsment?  Dating is not legally required and no one ever dates the indorsements.
