This should be NO surprise to anyone - the mere mention of Shapiro in the name of the lawfirm says it all:

Without explaining why, Freddie Mac has added another law firm to its list of those that it no longer authorizes to handle its foreclosure files.

The move concerning Shapiro & Burson was by mutual consent, a Freddie Mac spokesman told the Baltimore Sun.

The Virginia-based law firm has been accused by a paralegal of using documents in which "attorney" signatures on deeds were actually scribed by others.
