I am trying to find out if it failed. I think I read somewhere that it did, but when I Google it, some say yes and some say no.

do you now make payments to CHASE HOME FINANCE or JPMORGAN CHASE BANK?  and who was the originator of your loan?

Wells Fargo now.

The original "lender" no longer in business.

I remember having a huge upset with Washington Mutual because I received a notice that my house was going to be sold for back taxes. I had an escrow account adequate for paying the taxes, but Washington Mutual failed to pay.
