Another case decided last week in our Fourth District Court of Appeal is Bonilla v Bank United, No. 4D11-3209.  That decision from July 18, 2012, is here:

The key issue in that case was that the Florida Circuit Court Judge granted summary judgment right after allowing the defendant's attorney to withdraw and giving the defendants another thirty days to find a new attorney and answer.

The decision also notes that the plaintiff didn't address the defendant's affirmative defenses and counterclaims in its motion for summary judgment.
