Mortgage Servicing Fraud
occurs post loan origination when mortgage servicers use false statements and book-keeping entries, fabricated assignments, forged signatures and utter counterfeit intangible Notes to take a homeowner's property and equity.

Has anyone heard of or dealt with American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc.  How bad or good are they?  I have a predatory loan with Option One.  I've been bugging them to change it to a good loan.  Instead, they sold it to the company above.  I wonder what I am getting into?

You should put their name into your web browser and follow the leads it gives

Just a short look on the internet turned up a Cease and Desist order
for failure to pay the taxes that they collected from borrowers on time.
They issued NSF checks to various municipalities.

We would call that an issue.

You paid.  They didn't.  Will your state come after you for payment?

If they are like the servicers we talk about here, you'd better start
notifying them immediately when your taxes are due and how much
they owe.  Build a paper trail that becomes irrefutable evidence of knowledge
and failure to perform their contractual fiduciary duties.

No doubt you will find complaints if they are swimming with the loan sharks.

If you have not yet found yourself in the whirlpool that leads to foreclosure,
now is the perfect time to do your research and see what they are up to.

Begin the process of gathering your checks, and all documents put
together by date to be used for evidence if need be.

Find your mortgage docs and read them thoroughly.  They may be looking
to violate the terms of your contract and if you have read it, then you
can use it to  your advantage should mortgage servicing hell pay you a visit.
